Right out of the gate this movie has
a few too many inappropriate things for me to talk about, but
here is what I can tell you. Friday the 13th has some of
the greatest gore and special effects that I’ve seen in a scary
flick in a while. Of course Jason Vorhees still has his trusty
machete, but the director updated his hockey mask with a newer
model.
The plot may confuse you in the beginning because Jason starts
the slashing off in the first couple of minutes, but don’t worry
-- the slaying continues for the rest of the movie. With a
diverse cast of characters, the newly-rebuilt Friday the 13th
maintains the authenticity of young adults just looking to have
a good time. When they stumble upon Camp Crystal Lake and the
hockey-masked Jason Voorhees, it all hits the machete.
