Kim Riddle
By Johnny Buchanan
Quietly
as if lost in thought, Kim Riddle gets off the school bus. As she goes through
the day, Kim seems shy, but she is actually talkative and hyper.
“I
am very outgoing after school,” said Kim.
This
Ponca-City born, Native American/Mexican sophomore has a life vision.
“I’m following my dreams,” said Kim who wants
to start a band. And that is just what she is doing.
Kim
sings in the garage band Dying Faith with her friend and guitarist Andrew Huster. They are
looking for a bass player and a drummer.
The
bands that influence her are Marilyn Manson, Korn,
and Evanescence because their lyrics mimic how she feels.
“It’s
stuff I can sing along to most of the time,” said Kim.
Things
Kim could live without are TV, but not music.
She also could live without “preppy people and homework.”
As
for what she wants to do in the future, Kim laughed and said, “I want to clean
my room.”
