Perfect Lily

There lies a perfect petal lily.

It lies sweetly on the ground.

And it looks like an angel has cried on it.

This lily lies near the angel’s grave stone

Along with baby toys given by a family lost.

The poor baby girl became an angel at six months old.

No one wanted to let the angel go.

Everyone tried to keep her longer on the Earth.

They couldn’t stop God from taking the life-changing baby.

No one knew this angel was hiding a secret strife.

And now the perfect petal lily marks her brief life.
