"Chronicles of El Chupacabra"
By Dawson Leatherman

In the past years there have been more and more spottings of El Chupacabra. For those of you who don’t know what a Chupacabra is you are about to find out. He is one of the most savage beasts to ever roam this planet. He stands three to four feet tall depending on how he feels that day. He has four inch fangs top and bottom prone to eat goat flesh. He can be found anywhere in the world. The most recent sightings have been in the southern reaches of Texas. The farmers who have seen him say that his beady-red eyes pierce through the night like a beam of death.

I made a trip one week to Cuero, Texas, to chat with one of the farmers who allegedly saw the legendary Chupacabra. He told me that one day he was doing his daily chores when he heard the roar of the Chupacabra. It sounded like only something that could be in a horror movie. He looked out through his vast green pasture to see what at first looked like a coyote. He then realized that it was the Chupacabra that he had always heard of. He told me that he has seen that same Chupacabra several times, but when he went to fetch his gun the Chupacabra sensed what is about to happen and ran with speed that only something like a cheetah can have. So next the time you hear of the Chupacabra remember he is real and he will find you no matter how good you hide.
